I started this game when it first came out. There were hardly any game advantages and everyone was having fun and on the same playing field. As more and more packages got released into the game it became a pay to win situation. I personally do not think spending $100+ on a phone game is a wise investment. Thus I enjoyed the game by taking advantage of their events and the prizes within the game. However, it has become dominated by people who payed to be the big guy and the little people get absolutely demolished. It has taken the fun out of playing, which really dissapoints me as it was a fun game to play. Full Review

This game has potential to be fun but it's completely ruined because IT'S COMPLETELY PAY-TO-WIN which sucked the fun out of the game that I quit. Don't get me wrong, Final Fantasy is highly respected RPG franchise because it's full of great games in the series. But no this one. However, I might come back if the game developers make it not as pay-to-win as it is now. Right now, it's a complete money bucket! Full Review

The game is very addictive and fun to play. Some of the people playing the game are wonderful and fun to game with. Graphics are very good for a on line game played on phone, tablet or computer. The quests are challenging at best. BUT!!! BE WARNED... This game is not for young children as there is explicit language and cut throat people playing the game. After all it is a war game and nothing more. Now down to the nitty-gritty of the game. Yes it's free, but that only get you so far before you will need to buy packs in the game to advance and unlock the two new characters. The game quests are designed for people to spend if you want to get ahead fast. Large amounts of $$$$$$ Cash are needed to play this game. $$$$$$ Personal note, I know people who have spent thousands on this game. Over all the game is great for young adults on up. This game is great and will make you feel tho go all out. It challenges you in a healthy way and keeps you on your toes. Join a guild, trust me. You can do a lot by yourself but joining a guild in this game is actually fun. I haven't experienced anything toxic, yet. I've been playing for about a week and it's really great Full Review

All the advanced features (such as the mythic forge or oracle) cost $100 each just to unlock and even more to upgrade. Pay to win players are nearly impossible to beat. And the strong always prey on newer weaker players. Being successful in this game is more about the size of your wallet than your skill. It is easy to learn, the controls are simple and it does have good graphics. If you play passed level 20 it is key to guard your hero at all costs. Full Review

If you like going nowhere very slow this is the game for you. After purchasing two bundles one of which doubles your resource capacity, upgrading all of the resource, you have to spend weeks farming tiles in order to upgrade your castle or do any research. If you're RICH AF you might enjoy this. But each bundle you get just increases the cost from $5 to $20 to $100. I don't have $100 to spend on a phone game so can't tell you if it goes up again Full Review

Do not waste your money and time. The financial advisor of this game only knows $99.99 on most upgrades. It is so much cheaper to buy a ps4 or any console and buy a bunch of games with it and enjoy it much more than this game. The wording on the upgrades are so not clear and it leads you on thinking that this will be your last and only upgrade you need. After paying an arm and a leg you get into other loopholes and find that this was just the beginning for other payments. No skills needed, just pay more and you will have a really strong army and everyone will love you. There are players who pay thousands and are just years ahead of you. Please do not waste your money. When it's not crashing, it's fun to play. Sucks when it doesn't load of locks up during game play. Also it gets expensive as you have to buy packs at $99 a pop after the 1st 2. The game play is addicting, but no fun if you cannot afford the special offers they continue to throw in your face every time you log in. I love final fantasy games but this particular one is a money pit!. Not to mention the constant crashing Full Review

Someone needs to be fired or at least schooled on currency exchange rates. They offer 2 packs for 5 and 20 then except for rare sales which offer 49 and 79 dollar packs everything is 100 dollars google should step in and pull this game off the google play market for a square enix licensed product they have enough backing to have actual microtransactions not be a game exclusive to rich people who use 100 dollar bills as toilet paper... I kind of enjoy the game but would like it more if there were cheaper options to buying. After you buy some the prices jump to 99.99 and have yet to see cheaper prices. I'm not unloading that in one go. The people of this game would probably make more money if they bring cheaper prices. I would buy several different little packs that eventually add up to 100 bit you ain't getting nothing otherwise. Also wish you could buy more things with the gold you purchased. Please understand that there is really nothing free about this game except the install. While the gameplay WAS very promising at first, purchaseable bonus packs take any strategy completely out of the game. Now, in addition, each new element of the game that has been released in recent weeks requires cash to unlock. I can only use about half of the games features now. Bummer. If you're willing to pay, have a blast with this game. Otherwise leave it alone! Full Review

This game is excess. There's too much to do, too many menus, too many ads, way too much waiting, etc. This is balanced by insuring you never have enough resources (but you can buy more!), never know exactly what's going on, etc. Essentially, you'll see tons of ads telling you how much better the game will be if only you spend $5. Then you'll do everything you're told to do up until around level 5- that's when you start having to wait for or buy resources. All the while, the little chat bar is filled with people asking what they're supposed to do & when it gets fun, and children asking the modern equivalent of A/S/L. I'm sure underneath it all is an exciting, highly addictive experience with great graphics though. Full Review

It's cool but the pricing for these packs is not cool. Near impossible standards to get teleports for free. If the developers took math ever anytime in their careers they would realize if they reduce the price for the packs they'd definitely have more people buying and enjoying the app. They would make more money too just because most people don't care about spending coffee money in a day. That coffee money is there everyday. Full Review

The best part of a game is the lore, authenticity, plot, quests and rewards not letting aside the humor. This game lacks a few key ingredients and the fact that just real life $ dictates your game play... totally makes it prone to fail. You deal with players who will get bored buying everything easy or players quitting because they don't want to spend real $ on a phone game with no lore, continuity or value per se. Full Review

It was fun at first. Things moved along quickly. I was able to advance. But then it required money, lots of money. I'm not putting money into this game. The higher you get the longer it takes to do things with no money. At level 15 I left the guild I was in so they could use me as a farm for gaining resources for themselves. Without being in a guild I can no longer Advance Beyond where I'm at because I can't get enough resources for the required upgrade without spending money. Full Review

This game is great and fun, I love spending my time playing this game. One problem though, what is going on with the packages? Why is it every time a package is bought all the packages go from 20 to 100 dollars ? We should be able to buy the 20 dollar packages more than once! Is that fixable? Please cuz i do want to keep playing but 100 dollars is too much. Full Review

All in all the game is fun. However, you get to a point in the game where if u want too progress you simply have to buy game packs which is fine. My issue is they range from $5 too $150. I bought my first $5 pack recently which did help me out allot in game. However now I noticed that the company does not offer me the $5 packs anymore. Now they only offer me $20 and above. Now maybe I would be willing too do that however the $20 packs offer LESS then what the $5 pack gave me?!?! And then if I did buy a $20 pack they would no longer offer those ether. It would jump to the next offer which I believe is $50. So I would be willing to spend $5 here and there but not anymore. The company loss all my purchasing because I'm not spending hundreds to get to a higher level. My wife barely let's me get the $5 ones. Full Review

I have played this game for a while, it is addictive and fun, have met some really cool people on here, but I don't like how it's a pay to win game. I may not be staying on it much longer if things don't change on it. The chat you can't delete so when scrolling up it freezes my phone up, any packages you may want to buy are super expensive, and not worth it. Everything that could be fun costs real money which is making the game a lot less fun, you can't hatch chocobos, or level a new hero without spending money. Which is why I dropped my rating. Free to download but definitely NOT free to play. Be prepared to spend some series cash if you really want to get anywhere since you can, literally, only upgrade your citadel so far before you are forced to buy packs to continue. Fun, but not possible to play for free. If they want to force you to pay for stuff, they shouldn't offer the free download either. Full Review

If you're rich, it's the perfect game for you. When I first joined, bundles were $5. So I got a bundle. The $5 bundles quickly changed to $20 and you couldn't see the $5 bundles anymore. When you buy a $20 bundle, they go up to $100. I'm not paying $100 for a bundle that was just $20 all of 2 min ago. Other than that, it's a great game with a decent community of players. It just sucks they want to use me as a cash cow. 😞😞 Full Review

This game is fun, you can do alright without paying money. However every purchase you make increases your next purchase price. So your first purchase is $6.99, next is $24.99, next is $64.99, etc. And they push purchases on you every time you open the game, there's banners everywhere claiming exclusive deals, it's irritating. I like the game. It's quick to learn, but hard to master. It is very entertaining. One of the biggest cons for me is the lack of choice in the deals. You get an option for a dollar, then 20 dollars, and from there you have to pay 100 dollars each time for the bundle deals. On top of that, they keep throwing it in your face. I like the game, but it's as if you have to be rich to play it, which makes it much more challenging for the budget gamer. Full Review

Beg for it , or spend 5 days to send troop to get it ... if you are lucky you don't get attacked and repeat for metal ,gils and energy then you can finally get a upgrade which stats are so insignificant compared to the resources spend... OR you can spend money to buy gold which is what the game is forcing you to do... so please do not download this... they put false advertising on tapjoy too ... the moment you got the level they remove the offer making you play this game for no reason. Very interactive with other players and the response time from the game itself is very good. Never a lag. Graphics would be better if they could be bigger in size. But I'm playing on a phone not a tablet stop that could be my issue lol. Tutorial could have done a little better of job setting up background story and explaining game play. I.e. what the actual objective is. But like I said I'm a total noob here so I had no idea what this was about. Sorry this was a long review lol.
